Thomas Sexton< no role > of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopgate
London Surgeon Maketh Oath That he this Deponent hath been Credibly
Informed and berily believes that One Joseph Thompson< no role > otherwise Nicholas
Akley
< no role > otherwise Ockley< no role > , on the twelfthday of February
last past did Bound an Stabb One Joseph Ashton< no role > with a Certain Knife
a little above his Left Breast of he Depth of Four Inches And this Depont.
further Saith that he hath Carefully Examined the said Bound and was and shift
sis Employed By the said Ashton As a Surgeon to inbe Care of the said Bound and
Bruises so given by the said Joseph Thompson< no role > otherwise Nicholas Abley
otherwise Ocbley to him the said Joseph Ashton< no role > as aforesaid And this Deponent
further Saith that the said Joseph Ashton< no role > is now Confined to his Bed and so
greatly Indisposed by means of the said Bounds an Bruises that his Life
is Still inDanger And this Deponent further Saith that the
said Joseph Ashton< no role > Cannot Attend at this present Sessions to prosecute any
Bill or Bills of Indictment agianst the said Joseph Thompson< no role > otherwise
Nicholas Akley otherwise Ockley for the offence aforesaid without greatly
Hazarding the Life of the said Joseph Ashton< no role >

Sworn at Justice hall in the Old Bayly
on Fryday the twenty Third day of
February 1738 .
