To the Right Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the
peace for the City of London in their Quarter Sessions of the
peace assembled

The Humble peticon and appeale of the
Churchwarden and Overseers of the poor of the
Hamlet of Bethnal Green in the County of
Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of Sir
William Billers< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the City of London and Sir Richard Brocas< no role > Knight & two of his Majesties
Justices of the peace for the City of London (one being of the Quorum)
bearing date the fourth day of this Instant January whereby Elizabeth
Kettle< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the parish of St. Sepulcres in
the City of London to the Hamlet of Bethnal Green in the County
of Middlesex as the place of her last legal Settlement

Your peticoners conceiving themselves agrieved by
the said Order and Judgment of the said two
Justicesof the peacehumbly appeale to this Court
against the same praying such reliefe in the
premisses as to this Court shall seem meet

And yor peticoners will Ever pray
