Robert Parker< no role > now a Prisoner in Custody of the Sherife of London Deft in these Causes maketh
Oath That he this Dept. has need all possible means to be ready for the Tryalls of the Sewall
Indictmts found agt. this Dept. the last Sessions And that he this Dept. Applyed Soon after the last
Sessions for Coppys thereof but has been very much Delayed in his this Depts. Prparacons for these
Tryalls by Mr Peacock Clerke to Mr Tanner by his not Delivering the sd. Coppys of this Dept Indictmt
in due time to him this Dept. or his Agents the Sd. Mr. Peacock being as this Dept. is Informed &
verily beleives Joyntly Conceived wth. the Psecutors Sollr agt. him this Dept. altho he this Dept.
applyed or Caused to be applyed to the Sd. Mr. Peacock & Mr. Tarnner for coppys of the sd Indicmts
soon after the last Sessions was over as aforesd. but this Dept. never had the sd. Coppys delivered
untill wednesday last being the Seventeenth day of this Instant May altho long Oath Spoke for & money
leftbeforewth the sd. Peacock for the sd. Coppys and Since wch, time of Delivery of the sd. Coppys to this
Dept he this Dept. has not had time to advise wth Councill abt. the Same And this Dept. hath
been also further delayed by the sd. Mr. Peacock in not letting this Dept. have his Writts of Supas
for his Witnesses in due time as they were be spoke of him, And this Dept. further Saith that Wm
Langford
< no role > Gentleman Thomasand Nicholas Beckley< no role > are both Materiall Witnesses in
these Carwes for this Dept. and without their Evidence or Testimoney he this Dept. cannot
proceed to Tryall of these Causes Neither is he this Dept. now ready to Try the Sd. Indictments
or any of them at this Prsent Sessions by reason of the Sd. Mr. Peacock's delays as aforesd. and by the
Absence of this Depts Witnesses andby theIndispossitions of his this Depts. helth Since his
Confinement in Prison And by the Ridged Preedings of Mr Thos Smith the prosecutors Sollr
in taking up and wrongfully Issueing out Warrt. agt this Dept. Servts & other Psons who would
have Assisted him this Dept dureing his Contment togett ready for Tryall of these Sewall
Causes wrongfully charged on him this Dept
