Jeremiah Smart< no role > of Acorn Alley in the parish of St Buttolph with
out Bishopsgate London Weaver on his Oath Says that having a
Chest of Drawers Standing in the Room where Mary Aness< no role > lodges in his
House in the parish of Bishopsgate aforesaid he opened the same on
Munday the 17th: day of this Instant April about twelve of the Clockatt
the
Noon and then locked it again and was Sure that there was in the
Said Chest of Drawers eight Weavers Shuttles, two Carpenters Rules
a Bundle of Jule Yarn, a Paper of Bengall Silk in Strains [..]
Six or Seven overseers of Worsled for Stockings two Brass Weights Vizt. the
one a half pounds the other a quarter, a pair of Pickers and a Leaths
apron value thirty Shillings and found the said Drawers broke open the
Same evening about eighth of the Clock and the goods abovementioned
Stolen from thence and on tuesday following he went to the Shop of
Thomas Fisher< no role > or tuesday following he went to the Shop of
and found five of the said Shuttles and the two Carpenters Rules who declared
to him that he had bought them of the said Mary Aness the day before in
the afternoon
