Maties Justices of the Peace within the same City in the
General Quarter Sessions Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Mary Ab church Londn:

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seals of two of
her Maties Justices of the peace within this City (one being of the
Quorn) bearing Date the Thirtieth day of November last past one
Alice Norwood< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the parish of St
Marti Vintry London unto the said parish of St Mary (abchurch
alleadging the said parish to be the place of her last legal settlement

That your Petitionrs doubt not but to prove that the said
Alice Norwood< no role > never had any legal Settlement in the said
parish of St Mary Abchurch whereby they conceive on
themselves aggreived by the said Warrant & Judgment of
the said two Justices and do humbly appeale to your Honr
and Worpps therefrom

Your Petionrs therefore most humbly prays your
honr & Worpps will be pleased to hear them in the
prmisses and that the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of the said parish of St Martin Vintry may
appear before you and hear & abide the Determination
of your Honr & Worpps touching the Appeale

And your Petitionrs shall ever pray Etc
