WHEREAS it appeareth unto us, whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of Her Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said Citie and the Libties thereof
(Quorum unus) upon Complaint of the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Martin Vintry London
[..] that one Alice Norwood< no role > Singlewoman
is
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
herself there, without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House of her abode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided: And that the said Alice
Norwood
< no role > is
likely to become chargeable to the said Parish: And whereas it appeareth
unto us the said Justices, upon the Oath of the said Alice Norwood< no role >

that She is last legally settl'd in the Parish of
St. Mary Abchurch London where she lived an hired yearly
Sew at six pounds P ann wave with Mrs. Judith [..] Now
who lodged At the Raby House in Abchurch Lane for the spare of
fivey [..] & upwards [..] Rabt. [..] the quarter [..]
These are therefore in the Majesty's Name, strictly to charge and com-
mand you, and every of you, forthwith, upon Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Ahice Norwood
from the said Parish of St. Martin Vintry Lodnon
in the said County, the next and directed st Way to the said parish of
St. Mary Abchurch London
and deliver her unto the Church-wardens and Over seers of the
Poor there, who are hereby requir'd to provide for her
according to Law. Hereof fall not at your Perils. Given under our
Hands and Seals the thirtieth Day of November in the twelfth
year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne by the
Grace of God of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, Queen De-
fender of the Faith, Etc. Annoq: Dom. 1713.

of the Parish of St Martin Vintry London
And to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St Mary Abchurch London .
And all others whom it doth or may concern, Etc.
