England Etc Betweene John Cooper< no role > of London Barber Chirurgion of the one part and William Wattkins< no role >
Citizen and Baber Chirurgeon of London of the other part Witnesseth that it is Covenanted granted and
agreed by and betweene the said parties to these presents And the Said John Coope< no role > for himselfe his
Executors and Admstrators doth Covernant grant and agree to and with the said William Wattkins< no role > his Execrs
Admrs and Asst by those puts That hee ye Said John Cooper< no role > for the Consideracons hereafter menconed
Shall and will Serve ye Sd Wm Wattkins in the art Trade or mistery of A Babber and in all other the
business and Affaires thereunto Incedent & belonging for & dureing ye time & space of Four Yeares
Comenceing from ye Tenth day of Aprillast past before ye date of these Pcels (if both ye Sd Pties
to these puss Shall See long live) And that hee ye Sd John CoopesShall and will nonely deligently &
faithfully Imploy himselfe in ye Sd Art Trade or mistery of a Barber & all other business and affaires there
unto Incedent & belonging now driven or managed by ye Sd Wm Wattkins< no role > & Shall and will demeane & behave
himselfe unto ye Sd Wm Wattkins< no role > & all his dureing ye Sd terme as a faithfull servant ought to doe And the
Said Wm Wattkins< no role > for himselfe his Exrs and Admrs doth Covenant grant and agree to and wth ye Sd John
Coopeshis Exrs Admrs: & Asst by these puts in manner & forme following that is to say That hee ye Sd Wm
Wattkins his Exrs or Admrs Shall and will at his or their owne proper Costs & Charges Find provide and allow
unto & for ye Sd John Coopes meate drinke washing & Lodgeing dureing ye Said terme of Four Yeare & Shall determinable as aforsaid
& will also well & truely pay or cause to be paid unto ye Said John Coopes [..] Exrs [..]
Asst. for or in respect of ye Sd Service dureing ye Said terme of Four [..] both ye Said
Pties Shall [..] Long Live) the Severall Saleryes or Summes of money following (vizt) For ye first
yeare of ye Said terme ye Sume of Three pounds of Lawfull money of England for the Second yeare
of ye Sd terme ye Sume of Four pounds of Like money & for ye two Last yeares of ye Said terme ye
Sume of five pounds P Ann of Like money On ye Severall dayes times in each & every yeare
hereafter menconed (vizt) on the Tenth day of July, the Tenth day of October the Tenth day
of January, and the Tenth day of Aprill or within Ten dayes next ensueing every of ye
Said dayes of paymt by even & equall persons And to the true Performance of All & Singuler ye
Said Covenants & Agreemts which on the part and behalfe of Either of ym ye Sd Pties are or ought to
be paid Kept observed and performed Either of them bindeth himselfe his Heires Execrs & Admrs.
unto ye. other of them his Exrs Admrs & Assr in ye Sume or penalty of Forty pounds of goods of
Lawfull money of England firmely by these puts In Witnes whereof the Sd Pties to these Put
