The Information of Jane Wingrave< no role > taken
upon Oath this 7th. day of October 1694

This Informt: Saith that On Fryday last She came from Harwiton
in the Stage Coach to the Sarrazen head neare Aldgate and had
with her Two Buncks one of which was then Searcht by
Some Officers belonging to the Custome house at which
time Humphrey Burton< no role > the prisonr: now in Custody
was prsent and asked this Informt, what News from Holand
and She told him that She was no news monger And this
Informt. with one Frances Holmes< no role > and One Mrs Morris
tooke Coach for Westmr: and comeing through Paternoster
Row the Braces of the Coach was Cut & Imediately the Said
Burton came prtending to helpe this Informt. out of the
Coach and felt aboute her side, and the which place he
Indevoured to get A Ring from her Finger At which time
Shee Sayth, that She was Robd of One of her Buncks in
which were goods of a very Considerable value and
veryly beleives the Said Burton is One of the persons
that did Comitt the Said Robbary and further at prsent
Saith not
