The Case

The pet pretends he was A Seaman on board the Kings
Ship called the Burford & had 4s & three Shillings end
to his, which in ye year 1692 is entred down in the
ships Book, as paid to Stephen Higgins< no role > by A Letter
of Attorney for which he brings this Accon.

The Defend has usually rents ye Seamens wages, but-
never rents this money, or had any Lr of Attorney
from the pes
