The Informacon of Richard Edwards< no role >
taken upon Oath the Nynth day of
August Anno Dom 1692

This Informt. sayth That John Evans< no role > told
him if hee had any New money to keepe it
and that hee would allow him two shillings
in the pound, to melt downe, because it is better
weight then ye old Silver and to mix with [..]
other Metters to make the Counterseale money
because it would not run without some
Silver And this Informt. sayth that the said
Evans told him that noe Man in London made
this money but him [..] that hee had the
money off And that the said Evans did offer to
to allow to this Informt. Five shillings in
the pound to putt of this bad money, And two
Shillings in the Pound to putt of Clipt money
and five shillings in the Pound for Milled
money And that the said Evanson Sunday last
about afortnightthree dayes after this
Informant had reced Fifty shillings in halfe
Crowner, of the said faulse money, would have
had the said faulse money from this Informt.
but this Informant. told him hee should not
have it, till he had it before a Justice, And
that David Lewis< no role > and Almey were
there present when the said Evans sentfrom
for this Informant from his lodgings And
further sayth not.
