Informt: had left them, that they had certainely killed him but that he
had the good fortune to breake Coles sword and by that meanes
gott cleere from them that night, but said that he thought, that at
some time or other he should come to some ill End by them, for he
knew too much of theire tricks, that they were Shopp lifters, Padders
and given to all manner of villaine, and that they were sometimes
Jelouse of him;

And this Informt: further deposeth that about 2 dayes before the said
Milward was taken ill of the distemper whereof he dyed, he told this
Informt: that he would come to this Informt: Lodgings and Ease his
minde and tell this Informt: all; that he was ledd away by these men
meaneing Cole and Harper, that he would be ruled by this Informt:
and gett into some honest Inploymt: and bid this Informt: be sure
to be in the way; But the very day he was to come as he had
appoynted, the said Cole and Harper, and one Tades (who belongs to
Drs Commons) gott Milward away to Holloway, where by drinkeing
some Bottle Ale he was taken wth a Suddaine vomitting and looseness
wch never left him till he dyed.

The next day after the said Milward sent for this Informant
and told this Informt: that there was £30 to receive amongst them
and that if this Informt: would come againe to see him, he would
tell this Informt: how it was, and what other things he pmised to tell
this Informt: at his Lodgings, but the next Morneing he dyed before
this Informt: could come to him.

And this Informt: saith that the said Cole owned totoldhim, that when
Milward came to live at the said Coles house, he ye said Coles came &
lived on this side of the Water, and gave it out that he was gon to
sea, that when he sent for Milward to come to him, they did use
to drinke a health to theire freinds as sea, laughing to thinke how
Cole deceived the World being still in Towney.

That when Cole and Harper went abroad together Mr Cole went
for a Dr, and Harper for a Chirnegian this Mr Milward told this
informant, and when this Informt: hath beene in Company
wth them they called the said Cole Dr, and he seemed to be pleased wth
that name.
