to Stab Deponent which he avoided by Jumping
Back and then made a Push or Thrust at the
deceased and Stabbed him under the left
Breast or in the Belly upon which Wilkinson
said I am a Dead Man and Immediately went
home and Soon afterwards Died And Deponent
further saith That upon going up to William

that Man for having drawn a Knife upon me
and Deponent laying his hand upon his Shoulder
Said how could youdodraw a Knife upon a Man
upon which with many Oaths he said he would
Rip his Gutts out and what was that to him
meaning Deponent And, Deponent then informed
him he the Deponent was an Officer and
shewed his Staff and after he Powell had
Stabbed the deceased he said You Bugger I have
done you
