The Information of John Hetherington< no role >
of Newington Green Middlesex Clothier
Solomon Foyster of Stoke Newington Plumber
Frisby Miller of Islington Carpenter
and James Mc. Manus< no role > of Bow Street
taken on Oath before me this 7th. day of
May 1789.

Who being on Oath severally say and first the said
John Hetherington< no role > for himself says that in the Night of the 29th.
of April last a Quantity of Sheet Lead was Stolen from the top
of his Necessary adjoining his Dwelling House at Newington Green
aforesaid and that he verily believes the four pieces of Lead now
produced by the said James Mc. Manus to be the same as
Stolen from his necessary as aforesaid. And the said
Soloman Foyster< no role > for himself says that he hath carefully
Compared the four pieces of Sheet Lead now produced with the
remainder part of the lead left upon said necessary and that
they in all respects Correspond and agree with each other
And the said Frisby Miller for himself says that he was
present when the said Lead was Compared with each other
and that they in all respects Corresponded. And the said
James Mc Manus< no role > for himself says that on Thursday night the
last the 30th. of April he apprehended [..] John Bannister< no role >
the prisoner now present in a field near Islington with the
Lead now produced in a basket upon a Knott on his Shoulders
who at that time said He was going to Carry it to his
Masters in Grub Street
