The Information of Elizabeth
Davis

day of May 1789

Who being upon Oath says that she
Cohabits with the Prisoner now present, who calls
himself William Bromfit< no role > but is not married to
him that she has lived with him a week, at
Schofields, in Gardeners Lane King Street
Westminster , That Richard Humphreys< no role > , the
prisoner now present lodges in the next Room
to Bromfetand her, that in the Morning of
Monday last said Humphries going upon Guard
left his Old Coat-which he no [..] has on in
BromfetMoon< no role > -And that in the Evening of that
day about Seven o'Clock as Bromfet-and this
Informant were alone Bromfettook the
Handkerchief out of Humphrey's said Coat
pocket, and gave it to this Informant And desired
her to pawn it for what she could get in order
that he might take the Money to Humphries
then on Guard-which Handkerchief she did
Pawn with Mrs. Vandenbergh< no role > in King Street for
Six Pence where she received a Duplicate
and Six Pencewhich Duplicate and
Six pence she gave to said Bromfeted
