Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John
Woodford< no role >
says that this day about one o'Clock, he saw four
Men looking over the Pales into Mr Shepherds Garden at
Paddington
aforesaid in which a Quantity of Linen was hanging That he suspected
said four Men to have an Intention of stealing said Linen
and watched them for some timeThat he soon afterwards
heard that some of said Linen had been stolen and doth verily believe
that four Persons now present who call themselves Alexander

saith about half part twelve o'Clock this day she hung out
a Quantity of Linen the property of the said John Shepherd< no role >
upon a Hedge at the bottom of his GardenThat about
a quarter part one o'Clock as she [..] was sitting in the
said Garden she saw a Man upon the Paling who soon
afterwards got downThat she then saw another Man in a
light coloured Coat stooping under the Hedge who went
away with said other Man on his getting downThat
