The Information of Ralph Clay< no role > Job Tidder< no role > and John Norris< no role >
taken before me John Staples< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County the 22d
day of April 1786

who being on their Oaths say And first the said Ralph Clay< no role > for
himself saith that there hath been lately Stolen from out of
his Ware house in George Yard Tower Hill a Quantity of
Tobacco

The said Job Tidder< no role > for himself saith that belives with
William Brooks< no role > a Gun Smith in George Yard Tower
Hill That he hath several times seen the person
now present who say his Name is George parrymore< no role >
and another Person not presentThat he particular
in [..] a Tobacco Ware house Adjoining to his said Masters House
That the last time he so saw them there in was about
half an hour after Seven o' Clock on Sunday morning last
that the said George Parry moerNewson not presents called to this
Informant and desired him to fasten up his Masters
Dog which was loose in the Yard that they had been
in the Warehouse all night and were aforesaid to
came out That he this Informant Fastened up the Dog said
and then went and told his Master what he had seen
that he went out again into the Yard when the said
George parrymure< no role > and the other person were both
gone

And the said John Norris< no role > for himself saith that he is one of our
the Kings Lockers belonging to the Custom house That he
was on Duty in a Tobacco Warehouse belonging to
Mr. Ralph Clay< no role > Situate in George Yard Tower Hill
on Wednesday the twelfth of April [..] Instant
That he locked the same up about Six o' Clock him
the Evening of that day and carried the [..] They to
the Custom House further saith that he did not go again
to the said Warehouse before Monday last being then
sent for by Mr. Clay and told the Warehouse had been
RobbedThat upon unlocking the dear and going
therein with Mr. Clay he saw two Cash, broker open [..]
and along saw about one hundred pounds weight of Tobacco [..]
[..] in two Bags ready to be carried away
Lastly saith that no person (except with a false they)
could enter the said Warehouse [..] in the absense
of this Informant
