or Eight Minutes in which time this Informant saw some
thing like Cloaths moving within the said Window but
Saw no Person in the Shop that this Informt: then saw the
said Men run away and in the Hand of the said John

this Informt: went to the said Tude Barnet found She had
been Robbed of a Bath Great Coat and a pair of Corderoy
Breeches that this Informant pursued and assisted to
to take the said Men Searched them found only Two
Knives and some Matches

is a Constable of the Parish of Saint Johns Westmr: that
this Evening between the Hours of Five & Six WIlliam Watson< no role >
Patrole calld and told Him there was Thieves in the Bowling
Alley that this Informt: with the said William Watson< no role > and
Peter Gough< no role > went into the Bowling Alley and Conceal'd Thousd
in a private Place near to the Shop of the said Jude Barnet
that He saw the Prisoners John Langford< no role > (whom He knew
by the name of Higby) and Thomas Petree< no role > look into the
said Shop and then go to the part of the Window which is
now broken in during the Space of Seven or Eight Minutes
that this Informt: saw them run away and in the Hand if
the said John Langford< no role > saw Something like Cloaths that
this Informt: pursued them into Duck Lane and Assisted to
take them that He Searched them found but two Knives
& some Matches

And William Watson< no role > for Himself says
He is a Patrole of the Parish of St. Margaret and St. Johns
Westmr . that this Evening between the Hours of Five
and Six He saw Two Men keeping into the Shop of
the aforesaid Tude Barnet for the Space of a Quarter
