John Parsons< no role > of the Bull Inn Holborn
in the City of London Inholder maketh Oath and Saith
that he knows and is well acquainted with the above named
James Ogden< no role > a Captain in the Forty Fourth Rigiment of
Foot, the said James Ogden< no role > Quartering at this Deponent
house, for may weeks before this Robery, was Committed
And this Deponent Further saith that on or about the
Twenty First day of JanryInstantLast, about Midnight
said James Ogden< no role > came to this Deponents House, and
said he had been Robe'd of his Watch; Chain; and Seals
with his Pockett. Book Containing Notes of Value to the
Ammount of Forty Pounds, and upwards in a certain
Place Called Fox Court near Grays Inn Lane , And this
Deponent further saith that the said James Ogden< no role >
Enquired of said Deponent for Information, concerning
said Robbery, when to apply for a Majestrate in order
to give Information; Deponent not knowing any
Publick Office Believes said James Ogden< no role > went to one
D. Walkers Esqr. Office in Hyde Street Bloomsbury
when said James Ogden< no role > Informed said Deponent he had
laid Information against some person or persons
And this Deponent further saith that he is will acquaint
with the Hand writing of the said James Ogden< no role > and that he
verily believes that the paper writing herein to Anmaid
marked with the Letter A. is of the Proper Hand hand
writing of the said James Ogden< no role > .
