man and said that he was a Distiller
and lived
in old Bond Street
the other man desired Watson to
read the receipt which he did and found it to be as
before described, and it was then proposed by both of
them that this Informant should have Eighty Guineas
for his Shaw, which being Agreed to, the other man
left Watson with, this Informant pretending he was
going to a friend to get the Money in about half an
hour he returned Saying his friend was not at home
but was gone to the Bank to fetch Money and wou'd
not return till about two or three o' Clock it was then
proposed that Watson shoud keep the purse and the
Ring and that this Informant with the other man
Shoud meet at the said Watsons house in old Bond
Street
to conclude the Business, and this Informant
further saith that the said John Watson< no role >
then proposed
to him that he Shou'd deposit what money he had
in his Pocket us a Security for his meeting the other
man at Watson house at five o' Clock that this Informant
then took from his Pocket two Guineas and a half [..]
in Gold and Seven Shillings and Six pence in Silver
which he laid upon the Table and which said Sum
the said John Watson< no role >
took up from the Table put it
into the Purse and Immediately Run down Stairs
out at the door and went off as hard as he could run
