Esqr . of Isleworth saith on Oath that on
Monday night last his Masters Garden
was rob'd & ten pots with only Cucumber
Plants in them taken out of ye Framas
out of seventeen which were there & the
other seven destroyed that in ye Morng in
he went towd. Hounstow & Mr Fulchar who keeps
up Coach & Horns in Morton Lane went with him
to make enquiry after them, that having a
Gun when he came to ye back of Hounslow
he shod a Thrwsh which fell into a Garden
that he being desirous to go into yr Garden
for it ask'd Furhar, when Garden it was &
who was Gardner, who replied it is Mr Ship into
Garden, & Palmer is Gardner & he added that
he, Falcher saw ye sd. Palmer pass his Door in
worton Lane ye Night before between 11 & 12 with
a Ladder on his Should or, which going this
Deponent great reason to suspect that the
wright be ye Jenson who had stolen the said
Plants & Pots, he went into of Garden & found
right of them under a Frame there, which
he verily believes were the Plants so stolen,
and carried there by the sd. Benjamin Palmer< no role >
that his Masters Garden is a Walled ground
which sd. not be enter'd but by a Ladder
or a Reg & that the sd Plants & Pots in his
opinion to be sold were writh at loast a Shilling
cark pot.
