At the said Sessions House in the Old Bailey until
Four O'clock in the Afternoon when Charles Jealous< no role >
informed this Deponent that Moses Murrant< no role >
had been in Court and [..] ed that the
said Indictment would not be Tried Yesterday
Evening and that this Deponent might safely
Go Home and depend on the Indictment not
being Tried before this Day And this Deponent
further saith that well knowing the said Charles
Jealous
< no role > to be often concerned in Matters of this
nature (And of which this Deponent is totally
ignorant) and Verily believing the said Charles
Jealous
< no role > spoke Sum his own certain Knowledge
at the Time He Gave this Deponent such
Information And this Deponent being much
wanted at his own House which is about
Eighteen Miles from London This Deponent
went Home soon afterwards and Came again
to London this Morning when to his great
Surprize He was informed that the said
Charles Potts< no role > and Elizabeth his Wife were
Acquitted last Night for want of this Deponent
and the said Charles Jealous< no role > and Moses
Murrant
< no role > appearing against them, And this
Deponent further positively saith that it was
this Deponents full Determination to have
appeared against the said Charles Potts< no role > and
Elizabeth his Wife And was Prevented by the
Information which this Deponent so received
from the said Jealous and not by or through any
other reason Motive or Means whatsoever.
