Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Charles

says that on Thursday the 24th. day of January last
about three o'Clock in the afternoon he went with other Office
to the House of a person now present who calls himself John
Carmichael< no role >
in Castle Street
Long Acre
That he went into
back Parlour of said Carmichael's House where a person [..]
Present who calls himself Angus Campbell< no role >
was then standing
who had a pair of Saddle Bags in his Hands containing a
Quantity of round Blank Pieces of Copper of the size of an
half penny, on which he took the said Angus Campbell< no role >
into
CustodyAnd the said Moses Murrant< no role >
says that he was
with the other Officers when they inter'd the said Carmichaels
HouseThat hearing a Bustle in the House he went into
the Parlour where the said Campbell was, whom he found
to be in CustodyThat he then went towards the Cellar Stairs
when some person called out that the Landlord of the House (meaning
the said Carmichael) was in the Yard, on which he brought
him out of the sameAnd She said Thomas Carpincal
says that he went into a Cellar in the said Carmichaels
houseThat he first broke Open the Door and on
entering the same he found a large Press compleat for the
purpose of Coiningtwo Dies fixed an half penny
between the Diesa Quantity of unfinished Half pence
lying round the said Press not quite finished and
every other necessary Implement for the purpose of
Coining and Counterfeiting the Copper Money of this
Realm called Half Pence
