in Bow Street , and said that he believed
he had wounded one of the Highwaymen.

Wright's Office in Bow Street on his Oath
saith That in Consequence of Information
being given at the Office, of a Robbery
having been Committed upon Mr. Mitford
in the Road near Gunnerbury Lane
Mr. Bond sent him and two other Men
in Search of the Highwaymen, on
Wednesday the Sixth Instant, Says that
after some Enquiry, they were informed
that a Man was at a Publick House in
Brentford Wounded, being the Sign of
the Bear and Key, Says that on their
going there, Jeremiah Mathews< no role > the
Landlord denied any Wounded Person
being there, but Mr. Jealous (another
Man Who went with Dept. )called, to Dept.
saying that he was above Stairs, upon
which they all went up and in a Room
one Pair of Stairs found the Deced in
Bed and on asking the Deced (whom
Dept. Knew to be William Ogle< no role > ) how he
reced the hurt, Ogle answered that it
was by a Waggener on his getting into
the Drag, Says that they sent for a Surgeon
who said that he might safely be removed
Says that he saw a wound in the Deced's
right Breast, and that the Ball had gone
through his Waistcoat and Shirt, Says that
they
