The Information of Elizabeth Petty< no role > the Wife of
James Petty< no role > of Duke Street Lincolns Inn fields
Smith taken before me this 7th. day of Febry. 1782

Who being upon Oath says that a person now present
who calls herself Eleanor Lawrence< no role > hath lodged with her for about
three MonthsThat between Monday Night last and Tuesday
morning a Mital Watch now produced one Guinea and a half
and half a Crown were stolen out of her ParlourThat she
Yesterday went to Tothill Fields Bridewell where the said Eleanor
Lawrence
< no role > was confined on suspicion of having committed the
said Robbery when she confessed to this Informant that she
stole the said Watch and Money and that she had thrown the
Watch into this Informants Coal Collar when she was first
charged on suspicion of stealing the same and where this Informant
by the Direction of the said Eleanor Lawrence< no role > found it Yesterday
