Middlesex to Wit


The Information of Richard Onslow< no role > Esqr . of Marlborough
Street Saint James's and James Aldon< no role > of Berwick
Street Soho taken before me this 9th. day of Febry. 1782

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Richard Onslow
says that a person now present who calls Anthony Eccard< no role > hath lived
with him as a Servant for about two YearsThat five Shirtsnineteen
pair of Cotton Stockingsfour pair of thread stockingsnine pair of
silk stockings a red Leather Case containing Instruments and other
things now produced are his Property and were feloniously stolen from
him this morning about 7 oClock, by, as he doth verily believe
the said Anthony Eccard< no role > The said James Alders< no role > says that this
morning about 8 oClock the said Anthony Eccard< no role > came to his
Shop and offered to pawn with him all the aforesaid Articles,
sworn to by the said Richard Onslow, asked six Guineas upon
them, and said they were the Property of Mr. O'Brien; on which
he took him into Custody.
