Who being on Oath say, and First the said Archibald
Strahan< no role >
Says that on Wednesday Night last he got into a
Hackney Coach at Black Friar Bridge and one Hannah Webb< no role >
now present who was in Company with another a Woman requested
this Informant to let them ride with him in said CoachThat
they [..] rode with him to Whitechapel
at which time he
had in his Pocket a red Leather Pocket Book now produced containing
a Twenty pound Bank Note and two Promissory NotesSays
that he paidtheythe Coach hire of the said Webb and the other Woman
back to Covent Garden
and in about an hour afterwards he missed
his Pocket book and Notes and doth verily believe that
the said Hannah Webb< no role >
is the person that [..] Stole the same
And the said Peter Senhouse Says that he apprehended the said
Hannah Webb< no role >
Yesterday afternoon and on his declaring his
intention of Searching her person for the said Pocket Book she
delivered it to this Informant at which time it contained
the two promissory Notes aforesaid but nothing else
