The Informations of David Morum< no role > and
Joseph Smith< no role > taken and made on Oath before
me one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex the
29th. day of August 1781

This Informant David Morum saith that he is a
Victualler and lives in Whitecross Street in the said County
That on Monday Evening last about six or seven o'Clock
[..] he went to the Apartment or Lodgings of Elizabeth Murray< no role >
in Woods Court Norton Halgate in the said County he having
been invited by the said Elizabeth Murray< no role > the day before
to come to see her there. That he staid there about two
Hours and on going away missed his Watch which he
had before put into his Breaches Pocket and which had
been Stole thereout While he was in the Room With the
said Elizabeth Murray< no role > , And further saith that he verily
beleves the said Elizabeth Murray< no role > stole the same not other
person being [..] in the Room with him And this Informant
Joseph Smith< no role > Saith that she is a Pawn broker and lives
in EastSmithfield in the said County and that the said
Elizabeth Murray< no role > on the twenty eighth day of August instant
brought to this Informants House a Silver Watch which she
paconed with this Informant for half a Guinea And this
Informant David Mourn further saith that the said
Watch so pawned with the said Joseph smith< no role > by the said
Elizabeth Murray< no role > , is the same which was stolen from
this Informant as aforesaid.
