Middlesex to Wit

The Information of William Lowe< no role > and Charles Jealous< no role > taken
before me this 6th. day of August 1781

Who being on Oath say, and first the said William Lowe< no role >
says that in the Night of Thursday last a Bay Gelding this Informants
property was stolen out of a Field at Potters Bar in the County of Middlesex
and further says that on Friday last he saw his said Gelding at the
George Inn in Long Acre And the said Charles Jealous< no role > says that he
found the said Gelding in a Stable at the Rose & Crown in Smithfield
That a person now present who calls himself William Whitaker< no role >
Shewed the said Horse to him, said that it was his own property, that his
Father had [..] given it to him and offered to Sell it
