Majestys Justices of the Peace
in and for the
County of Middlesex
the 21st day of August
1781.
This Informant John Crockett< no role >
on his Oath saith that
at Sundry times lately, there has been feloniously stolen
out of his Dwelling House at Hoxton in the Parish of Saint
Leonard Shoreditch
in the said County a great Quantity of
wearing Apparel and other things this Informants
property consisting of one cloth Coat and Waiscoat two
dinity Waiscoats three pair of Breeches Six linen Shirts
two silver Table Spoons one pair of silver To a Tongs, one
silver Beaker, two silver Watches and one metal watch
And this Informant further saith that he verily believes
and suspects that Ann Dennitt who lived with him as
a Servant, is the Person who [..] stole the same And this
Informant Elizabeth Taylor< no role >
saith that about six Months
ago the said Ann Dennitt delivered to this Informant at the
said Mr Crocketts House one huen Shirt and requested this Informant
to Pawn the same with one Samuel Pepperell< no role >
a Pawn broken
in Hoxton
aforesaid which this Informant did, and carried
back the Money she received for the same to the said Ann
Dennitt, That at sundry times since the said Ann Dennitt
hath instructed with this Informant for the same purpose
