The Information of Joseph Wateridge< no role > of
King Street Covent Garden Hosier -taken
before me this 20th.. day of January 1781.

Who being on oath says that this morning two Persons now
present who call themselves Mary Brown< no role > and Mary Caddie< no role >
came into his Shop together-That said Mary Brown< no role > desired to
took at some Stockings which this Informant shewed her
That this Informant observed said Mary Brown< no role > secrete
the pair of Stockings now produced. That said Brown
then refused to Bury any Stockings and both of them
went out of his Shop That he followed them brought them
back into his Shop when said Mary Brown< no role > took the
Stockings now produced out of her pocket and laid them
on his Compter.
