This Informant Thomas Cope< no role >
for himself
Saith That he is a Servant to Messrs. Cox and Arnott
of Holborn Silk Mercers and That about 4 o'Clock
this Afternoon Two Woman who says their Names
are Ann Gilson< no role >
and Mary Jones< no role >
came to the Shop
of the said Cox and Arnott and Cheapened some
Mercery Goods and that after they had agreed for the
purchase of a pettycoat and one Yard of White and One Yard of Pink persian he this Informant observed
a piece of White Persian upon the said Ann Gilson< no role >
Concealed
under her pettycoat-That he did not Take Notice
to the said Ann Gilson< no role >
about it until she had got
out of the shop into the Street When he brought her
back and in Searching her She dropt, the piece of
persian now produced upon the Floor
And this Informant Richard Newton< no role >
for
himself Saith that he was present in the Shop of the
Said Messrs. Cox and Arnott when the Two Women
