Cecil the Wife of James Brown< no role > of Cable Street in the
Parish of Saint Mary Matfelon otherwise Whitechapel in the County
of Middlesex Carpenter and Patrick Haley< no role > of the same place Weaver
make Oath and say that on or about the Twenty fifth day of July last
the Deponent Patrick Haley< no role > and the other Deponents Husband James
Brown
< no role > were bound by Recognizance before John Sherwood< no role > Esquire one
of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlesex
in the penal Sum of Forty pounds each Upon Condition that he said
James Brown< no role > should prosecute and this Deponent Patrick Haley< no role > give
Evidence at the then next Session of Gaol Delivery of Newgate to be
holden for the said County of Middlesex against Thomas Ivers< no role > for
Burglariously breaking and entering the Dwelling house of the said
James Brown< no role > and taking there out one Silk Handkerchief his property
and these Deponents say that they went to Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
on Friday in the Sessions Week and did there prefer a Bill of
Indictment and give their Evidence thereon before the Grand Jury against
the said Thomas Ivers< no role > for the said Felony and Burglary and these Deponent
further say that they attended at Hicks Hall on the next day Saturday
where they heard the Indictment called over a True Bill and were Ordered
to go to the old Bailey to give their Evidence thereon against the said
Thomas Ivers< no role > which they immediately did and attended there all Day
and these Deponents say that on the Monday Morning following they
again attended at the sessions House in the old Bailey and as they both
came from Home without their Breakfast these Deponents went fa
Publick House near to the said Sessions House to get some refreshment
where they staid about half an Hour and then went out to go to the said
Sessions House but as these Deponents were going across the Yard of
the said Sessions House they met the prisoner Thomas Ivers< no role > who had
