these Deponents Severally Say that they meant and
intended to have attended at the Old Bailey to have
Prosecuted and Given Evidence against the said Thomas
Williams
< no role > and that their not attending was entirely owing
to the Neglect of the said William Winson who was to have
given them Notice if the Tryal would come on the said
Sixteenth day of July and not owing to any Favor or
affection whatsoever to the said Thomas Williams< no role > and these
Deponents further severally Say that they have not directly
or Indirectly taken or received any Sum or Sums of money
whatsoever from the said Thomas Williams< no role > or any other
Person or Persons whomsoever for not prosecuting him the
said Thomas Williams< no role > nor have they or either of them had
any promise made of any Sum or Sums of money or other
Reward whatsoever for or on account of their not attending at
the Old Bailey to Prosecute and give Evidence against the said
Thomas Williams< no role > but on the Contrary really and mely means
to have attended and given Evidence against him.
