The Information of Joseph Spencer< no role >
Ann Dowling< no role > and Thomas Lyon< no role >
taken before me One of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said
County

Who severally being upon Oath say And first
this Informant Joseph Spencer< no role > for himself
saith that on Sunday Night last he was in
a Street in Covent Garden but what the Name
of the Street as he cannot tell he had at that
time a Quantity of Lane in his Pocket and
his Pocket was picked & she said Lace taken from
him but by whom this Informant cannot tell
saith that the Lace now produced by the other
Informant Thos. Lyons is apart of the Lace
which was picked out of his pocket abovemd
And this Informant Ann Dowling< no role > for herself
saith that on Monday Morning last about
One o'Clock She saw the person now present
who calls himself John Eustace< no role > & another man
whose Name she does not know sitting by the
side of the other Informt. Joseph Spencer< no role > [..]
in a Public House in Kings head Court Russel Street
Covent Garden that about 4 'o Clock the same
Morning she saw the said John Eustace< no role > in
Russel Street timing & she asked him where
he was Running to & the sd. John Eustace< no role >
then pulled out some Black & white Lace
which he sayd he had taken out of a Gentleman
packet (which as this Informant apprehends
was the Sr. Joseph Spencers pocket) and
about Six o'Clock the same Morning then
sent Eustace came to this Informants Lodging
but before this she had been & acquainted the
other Informant Thos. Lyons who is an Officer
where the Gentleman property was & who
went with her to her Lodgings & took apart
of the said Lace upon the said John Eustace< no role >
and the other part was found under the Bed
