Justices of the Peace
for the said
County
Who severally being upon Oath say and first this
Informant Elizabeth Bacon< no role >
for herself saith
that a Person now present who calls herself Margt.
Sunderland lodged with her & did some little things
for her in the House about a fortnight ago
this Informt. Missed Nine Sheet & Upon Charging
the said Margaret with them she confessed that
She had Stolen them & had Sold them to a person
now present who calls herself Ann Shorthouse
and had received Six Shillings & Six pence
for them whereas in truth & in fact the said
Sheets were worth twenty four Shillings &
upward this Informt. further saith that the
said Margt Sunderland< no role >
went with her to the House
of the said Ann Shorthouse where she found One
of the said Sheet now produced & she then denied
having any other Sheet of the sd. Margaret
Sunderland< no role >
other than the said One Sheets that
about Eight Days after this Informt. obtained
a Search Warrant. & Searched that House of the
Said Ann Shorthouse & there found another Old
Sheet cut to piece which she knows to be her
Property & which was lodged in a Chest

Where three pair & a half of the other Sheets so Stolen
as aforesaid were Lodged & further saith that
from the Miserable & Ragged Condition the said
Margaret Sunderland< no role >
was in at the time she Sold
the said Sheets to the said Ann Shorthouse< no role >
& the Small Price she gave for them believes the said
Ann Shorthouse must know that they were
Stolen And this Informant Thomas Lyons< no role >
for himself saith that in Executing the said
Search Warrant he found the [..] Old Sheet
Pnt in piece now produced an claimed by the other Informant
in the House of the said Ann Shorthouse< no role >
