Then She Came in with the Pistols And Mr. Clarke took them
And Bid her go Home And fetch his Powder Box his Wig
and his StickThat Informant then Let Mrs. Clark
Out And Wentoutup Stairs to Work and saw no more
Saith She Saw none of the People without Doors
Only Saw One Face Looking thro' the Shutter (which was
open but very little in the middle) And she knows nothing
of the Person and should not Know him again if She was
to See himThat after Informant had been up Stairs
about half an hour She heard a Noise in the Street and
Looked out at Window And Saw a great many People in
the Street and Mr. Clarke was at Mrs. Ballances Comer
(next Door but One to Informants Mothers) Coming to
Informants Mothers withhis People a Pistol in his
right HandThat She then saw several Men and Boys
following him But does not know any of them
That She did not See Clarke Present the Pistol agt. any One
or Attempt to Discharge itThat she could not from
the Window See the DoorAnd did not know when Clarke
Came in again But heard the Mob Say that he was in
And the Mob broke the WindowsThat then Informant Attempted
to Come down Stairs And about five Stairs up from the Ground She met a
Man who held up a Stick and Said he would Kill every
One in the House if he did not find Mr. Clarke there
But who that Man was or how he was Dressd' or Whether
he was a Tall Man or a short One or were his own Hair
Informant cannot SayThat when the Man found Clarke
was not up Stairs he went into the Kitchen and Informant
went into the Street and immediately the word was Passed that
Clarke was over the Wall backwards
