The Information of Elizabeth Beach< no role > wife of
Beach of Webbs Square in the Parish of
Christ Church in the County of Middx takeing
Before me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the said County the 25th day of June 1771

Who being Sworn upon her oath deposeth and Saith that
on the Day and at the time Dannil Clark< no role > was killed at the
Pond of Water in the field Near Bethnal green Church she
was in he same and Near or by the said pond of Water
and thear saw several persons throw stones or other things
at the said Clark as he Stood in the pond that among them
she saw and remarked a Short Man in his shirt whom she had
Personally Known Before several Years and was then well Known
to her this Informant by Room very Active saith that
she saw the said Short man so in his Shirt go to the Edge
of the pond and Seize or take hold of the said Clark as he
was endeavouring to come out of the pond And threw or
Risked him in again and throwed Stones or Dirt at him several
times Saith that she tavised and Sawthe said Clark
after he was Dead Carred to Bethnal Green Workhouse and
thear against are the said Short man whom she Before saw
at the pond of Water in his shirt Dressed then had on
or wore a frock such as Is Commonly worn by Ship Wrights
or Carpenters
