and entirely Spoil'd so that Mr. Cochrans Key< no role > would neither Lock nor unlock
the said Gate. That they had broke open the Window of the Wash house
that came into the Area of the Wells Street side, and in searching about
the said Wash House this Informant Saw Mr. Cochran Pick up a large
Pipping Chissel but found nothing elso in the Wash house. They then
went round to that part of the House that Fronts Oxford Road where
they found the Nails of the Hinges belonging to the Scullery Window
which were of the inside had all been drawn as this Informant verily
believes with the said Chissell, and the Window Shutters of the said
Skullery were also forced in. And further this Informant Saith not.
And this Informant Peter Astten< no role > for himself Saith that he.
received the Charge of the said Four persons herein before mentioned
from the other Informant John Vaughan< no role > and Kept. them in the Area
until the said Vaughan returned with Proper Assistance after which
Transaction he Speaks exactly to the same effect as the other
Informant John Vaughan< no role > .
