Middlesex To wit

The Information of Martha Clare< no role > the elder
taken before me this 16th. day of October
1769

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday Morning the 4th. of
January 1768 a Number of Persons one of whom was armed
with a Pistol and a Saw broke and destroyed four Looms and
other Takle and Mensils used in and for the weaving and making
of Silk Trimmings< no role > and other Silk Goods the property of this
Informants husband John Clare< no role > , that three of the said Persons
came up Stairs one of them into this Informant's Room and
the other two upon the Stairs and demanded Money of this
Informant that she desired her Daughter to give them a
Shilling which she did, and further says that a person
now present who calls himself Peter Perrin< no role > This name instance is in set 29103696. is one of the
said persons who broke and destroyed her said husband's Looms
Tackle and Utensils and came up upon the Stairs to demand
Money from this Informant as aforesaid
