The Information of Sarah Cowling< no role > and George
Just
< no role > and Ann< no role > his wife taken on oath the 25th.. day of August 1769
before me one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County

First The said Sarah Cowling< no role > Saith that in the night of yesterday
or very early this morning, Some Person or Persons Burglariously
broke and entred the Dwelling House of William Cowling< no role > her
husband, and thereout took and Carried away one Feather Bed four thing Bowls one
Cloath Coat one Waistcoat one Silver hilled Swrod and divers other
things the property of the said William, And this Examinant Saith
that the said things were found in the Lodgings of Lawrence Tereling< no role >
and Sarah his wife, And this Examinant George Just and
Sarah his wife Severally Say they know nothing of the said things
being brought in, but the said Ann Saith that Sarah Tereling
this morning offered two [..] Panch Bowls to Sale to her, and which
she believed weretwoone of the Bowls now produced, And all these
Examinants Say they verily believe that the said Sarah Tereling
and Lawrence her husbd. And one Moses Jones< no role > and oneSmith a
Sailor Stole the said things above mentioned, [..] they having
heard and believes that the said Persons brought the said things into
the Lodging Room of the said Lawrence Tereling< no role > and Sarah his wife
about two o'Clock this morning, And that they received the Same,
and that the said Sarah Tereling offered the Bowls part thereof
to Sale as aforesaid
