who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Thomas
Bew came to his death say upon their oath that the said

on the twenty first day of July in the twenty ninth year
aforesaid being upon the first flight of Steps of and belonging to the Dwellinghouse of him the said Thomas Bew situate in the Parish
and Ward aforesaid in London
aforesaid and being then and there intoxicated and drunk with excessive drinking it so happened that the
said Thomas Bew accidentally casualty and by misfortune fell from and down the said first Night of sticks of the said Dwellinghouse of him

one mortal wound and confusion in and upon the head of him and said
