Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Botolph with Bishopsgate
in the Ward of Bishopsgate in London on
the 23d day of July 1789 on view of the body
of Thomas Bew< no role > there lying dead

John Mackway< no role > of Petticoat lane No.23 Cheesemonger
and Grocer maketh oath that last Tuesday evening Dept saw
dead pass by neighbouring house to Dept. much intoxicated, & in
[..] a few minutes afterwards Dept. Leard him fall down Stair's
& saw him immed. afterwds. lying in the Street, have fellen down the
Stairs of the house he lodged in into the Street She Stairs coming
dersitly upon the Street Says that the back of the deceds head appeared to be much cut that sevl. felons came to the deceds assistance
and also Mr. Brown a Surgeon . Says he lived [..] an hour and
an half afterwards Says some after the deced fell down he saw
his Wife to along the Street towards home
