Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of Saint
Bennet Pauls Wharf in the Ward of Castlebaynard
in London on the 20th. day of July 1789 on view
of the body of James Till< no role > there lying dead.

David Edwards< no role > of No. 76 Watling Street< no role > Apprentice to
Messrs. Eustace & Biggs< no role > maketh oath that on Thuesday last in
the eve. the dead and dept and several other person were in a four
cared Cutter upon the Thames near Black friars Bridge that the deced.
had a boat look in his hand with which he was holding the Boat against
the of the friers of the Bridge to see some Vessels start that were going on
a Sailing match, and the hook giving was he fell over board into the
Water says he fell in entirely by accident, & to Dept. knowledge
he was not seen afterwards, says the dead was dressed after and all
necessary & proper means were used to find the body of the deced but
to no purpose he was not found.

maketh oath that last Saturday afternoon Dept. & Edward Wright< no role >
being [..] ping the Water form the Tower Stairs he saw the deced in
the Water, between in the parish of Allhallows Barking in the Ward
of Tower that Dept & his Companion took him in Shore.
