Informations of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Mary Staining in
the ward of Aldersgate in London the 25th.
day of November 1788 an view of the body
of An Wittingham< no role > there lying dead.

Richard Clifford< no role > No. 13 Gather lane London
Apothecary maketh oath that about three Weeks since
Dept was called on to see the dead who had then by same means
unknown to dept fallen from a one pair of Stairs Window of
Mr Rush for this house; that she [..]
[..] was insensible & light headed; that dept
he attended her since until within a few days of her death
& she continued in a distracted date of mind That on Sunday
eve. Dept was called in to see the deced whom he found will the
blood running out of her right ear, and her Scull much fractured
& she died very soon.

London Silversmith maketh oath that on Sunday eve about
half past six as dept was passing Staining lane a number of
people who were about sayed something was hanging out of the
two pair of Stairs Window of Mr Wittinghams house, and dept
[..] perceived something but could not distinguish what that it
was conceived thieves were in the house, and a ladder was sent for
& it was then discovered to be a Woman the dead, hanging out of
the Window; Dept called to her and desired her to keep her where her hold
& she should be released in a minute that Dept & three others entd.
the house at the one pr. of Stairs window, and ran up Stairs & found
the two pair of Stairs door locked, & Dept immedy. broke the
door open, and then the deced fell into the Street-that the [..] [..]
went down into the Street and took the dead who appeared to be
insensible into the house & she died soon afterwards
