Informations of Witnesses taken
at the parish of Saint Mary le bone
in the Ward of Cheap in London the
15th. day of Novr. 1788 on view of the
body of John Cook< no role > there lying dead.

Elizabeth Mooring< no role > Servant to Mr. Atkins
Wife of Thomas Moreings< no role > maketh oath that the
deced had been arrested for dell & tro's to her Masters house
on Wednesday lastThat yesterday morning Dept desired
a lad in the house to go and call the Gentlemen, means the
persons confined in the hours, to came to breakfast-the
returned & sayed he could not fine Mr. Cook the deced
That Dept went up into the deced room & there saw
the deced sitting in a heap as she tho's behind the Curtain
that the immedy. came out it the room & informed Mr
Swinney who was by the Room door who went in & sayed
he was largedThat Dept [..] the deced to bed the
overnight-Says he appeared while he was at her
Masters melancholy & dejected.
