Daniel Swinney< no role > of Bell Court Fenchurch Street
London ally. at law maketh oath that yesterday morning
as he was coming down Stairs (of Mr. Atkins house) by the
room the deced rested in the lard Witness told him the dead was
in a corner of the roomDept went into the room & there
saw the deced with a prea [..] of [..] cord about his neck
one end fastened round his neck & the other end to a Staple
a The Wallthat Dept gave an alarm & Mr. Atkins went< no role >
up & cut him down-sayed his [..] wrist were cold & he was
quite dead. Says the deced talked sensibly while he was at
Mr. Atkins but seemed dejected

Samuel Cook< no role > of little Chelsea in the Co. of
Middx Carpenter maketh oath that he is Brother to
the deced who for some time past had been Clerk to Mr. Nash
of Austin Friars Carpenter-Says Dept has sometime
spoker to him of his misconduct, & he has flour out in a
violent passion & at other times he wod say nothingthat dept
has that him same times to be frantic. Dept [..] he has seen
the deced write & that a paper new [..] he belehene the the
hand Writg of the deced.
