At this Vestry Mr Churchwarden Hawes reported to the
Gentlemen of the Vestry That upon auditing the Account of the late
Church warden Mr Burt It appeared That this Parish was indebted
to the said Mr Burt in the Sume of Sixty pounds Seven Shillings
and Two pence And that Mr Hankey was willing to advance the
money for the Parish Whereupon it was putt to the Vote whether
Mr Hankey should advance the said Sume of £60:7s:2d at & after the
rate of £5 P Cent P Ann And it was carryed in the Affirmative
At this Vestry the Churchwardens and Such other Gentlemen of
the Parish as they should think fitt to take to their Assistance
were desired to treat with the severall Churchwardens within this
Wardforabout the erecting a Workhouse
for imploying the Poor within
this Ward And to report their Proceedings in this Affair to the next
Vestry.
