Mr Newnham fined for all
Ward Offices £10

Then Mr Richard Newman< no role > was put up and chosen for Scavenger
Constable and Inquestman and Mr Joseph [..] Hayward< no role > acquaintd . the
Vestry that Mr Newman desired to fine for all Warde Offices Whereupon
he was admittd. paying the usuall Fine of Ten pounds, which Mr Hayward< no role >
promised to pay.

Mr Jones fined for all Ward

Then Mr Jones was chosen Scavenger Constable & Inquestman, and at his
request was admitted to fine for all Ward Offices paying ten pounds, he
promised payment.

Then Mr James Newton< no role > and Mr Daniel Rawlinson< no role > being chosen
Scavengers Constables & Inquestmen, at their request, were both admitted to
fine for all Warde Offices paying ten pounds apeece.

Then Mr Walford was chosen for Scavenger Constable & Inquestman, & at
his request was admittd. to fine for all Ward Offices paying ten pounds.

Then Mr John Burt< no role > was put up & chosen Scavenger Constable & Inquestman
and in regard of his poverty It was agreed that he should be allowed five
pounds towards the charges.

their second yeare.

Then It was ordered that from henceforth The fine for All Warde
Offices shall not be lesse than Twelve pounds nor exceeding fifteen pounds
and to be left to the Vestry what every one shall pay that shall hereafter
desire to fine.

Mr. Ingram made an
Attachmt : of Cruds Wages
but Mr Crude excused for
said attachmt:& debt.

The parish haveing maintained two Children of Mr Cruds as by an Order
of Vestry made the fourth of Sept. last & Mr Ingram< no role > as Upper Ch: Warden
haveing made an attachment of the Sd. Cruds Wages towards Satisfaction
moved the Vestry whether the said attachment should be discharged Which
being put to the vote It was now ordered that Mr Crud should be
excused from the said attachmt. and debt.

Mr Ingram acquainted the Vestry that the Guift of Sr Robert Clarke< no role >
was misaplyed and thereupon he produced an abstract of the Sd. Sr Robt.
Clarkes Will< no role > which was read and the Clause amongst others was that
forty shillings should be distributed yearly to the poor of St Dionys Back-
Church And it being put to the vote It was order'd to be paid accordingly
the first payment to be on St Thomas's day next and afterwards the
said forty shillings to be paid on Ascention day yearly for ever As also Mr
Marhams Guift of 7s:6d: from the Carpenters Company & 3s: 4d: from the
Ironmongers Company< no role > being Mrs Margarett Deanes Guift on St Thomas's
day next and afterwards all the said Guifts on Ascention day yearly for
over by the Churchwardens and four more parishoners that have
served the Office of Churchwarden.
