Snuggs, Mr. his Buss.
further considd. and
proposition of Securities.The Attorney for the Assignees of Mr Snuggs the Contractor
for Altering the Mens Prison Mr Bigg one of his Sureties and
Mr Godmond on behalf of the Trustees of the Estate of Mr Sarjeant
the other security (who is insolvent) having attended the Committees
and severally proposed in order to put an end to the Action commenced
against Mr Snuggs and his Sureties, that Mr Bigg should on or
before the 2d of May next pay One hundred pounds together with
the Costs of the Action and that the Hospital should receive a
dividend on the Sum of One hundred pounds from the Estate of
Mr Sarjeant and retain all the Materials on the Premises which
were brought there by Mr Snuggs and that the Assignees of Mr Snuggs
should release the Hospital from all claims for the work done and
materials provided by him

Whereupon the Committee resolved to recommend to the Court
that this proposal be accepted and that the Clerk should execute the Trust
Deed of Mr Sarjeants Effects on behalf of the Hospital as Creditors for
the Sum of One hundred pounds and that upon receipt of One hundred
pounds from Mr Biggs with the Costs and the proposed release being
given by Mr Snuggs's Assignees the Action be no further prosecuted
and that Mr Snuggs and his Sureties be released from all claims and
demands on Account of the non performance of the Contract entered
into with this Hospital.

Surveyor to prepare
particulars &c. of
Buildg. a Men's PrisonOrdered that the Surveyor do prepare particulars and an
Estimate of the expence of Building a Mens Prison agreeably to the
Plans and Elevations approved of by this Committee on the 11th February
last

And that Advertizements be inserted in the Papers that the Committee
will meet on Thursday the 12th day of May next to receive proposals for
doing the above Works and that all Persons applying are expected to give
satisfactory references as to their ability and sufficient Security for
performing the Contract.
