for the CountyThis Committee being convened by Mr Treasurer proceeded
(accompanied by the Surveyor) to view the House of Correction for
the County of Middlesex and having seen the manner in which
the Prisoners were employed The Master promised to furnish
the Treasurer with the Form of the Books they used for Keeping
their Accounts, distinguishing the Work and Earnings of each
Prisoner, and to give him such other information as he thought
might be useful to the Governors in employing the Prisoners
committed to this Hospital.
